The National Center for Faculty and Leadership Development (NCFLD) ; formerly the FLDP,was established in the Ministry of Higher Education in Egypt as one of the Higher Education Enhancement Projects (HEEP). It aims at professionally developing the human resources (both academic and administrative) in Egyptian Universities and Higher Education Institutions in the fields of teaching, research, leadership and societal services. It emphasises the skill development, the use of technology, professional ethics, and communication skills. It performs at international quality standards certified by the International Board of Certified Trainers (IBCT); the European Division.
It is specialised in training of trainers (TOT), their qualification and certification process. The NCFLD is licensed from the IBCT to grant the international certification upon the completion of the required training and testing, and evaluation according to specific quality standards.
Being the Middle East and North African division of the IBCT, the NCFLD offers such programs and certificates to all participants inside and outside of Egypt and offers specially tailored training programs for such institutions.
Strategic Human Resource Development is now more relevant and important to organisations Especially within the higher education of Middle East region. Therefore I am proud that the National Center for Faculty and Leadership Development (NCFLD) in Egypt has developed state-of-the-art leadership programs for training professionals.Training professionals must be able to link training and education with the goals of the organisation on the one hand and with the personal development of the employee on the otherhand. They are required to contribute to realising a greater yield and level of accountability.
